Wooden sculpture carved (whittled) by our dear friend Mr. Paul from Cashew wood of a young boy playing drum. We met him many years ago at an art fair where he was selling his wonderful carvings of various designs as well as wooden earrings. His talent is unmatched, but his ability to reach customers is all but impossible in this time of history. Essentially without any opportunity for sales, most all artists in Haiti have been struggling immensely since 2018 when the unrest began with intensity. We have reached out recently to some of our artist friends in an effort to help connect them to an audience that might see and appreciate their work.
